The first part of this list is made up of the reference documents that the FAA uses in developing the Private Pilots Practical Test Standards (PTS). The current PTS is on-line as an Adobe PDF file. Some of these references are published as books which you can obtain from my bookstore, other references are published on-line by the FAA (as well as a number of other organizations, AOPA etc.) You should plan on obtaining, reading and understanding these documents.
