q Obtain ATIS on 123.8

q Taxi to runup area near taxiway N5 (November-5) and perform “Before Takeoff” checks.

q Contact Clearance Delivery on 120.1 and state:

1. Raleigh Clearance, Cessna ##### (and wait for response, then)

2. ##### is a Cessna 152/172 VFR to airport-id at #### feet with information ATIS Code

3. Read back assigned altitude, Departure Frequency, and transponder code

q Contact Ground on 121.9 and state:

1. Raleigh Ground, Cessna ##### is ready to taxi at November-5 (N5)

2. Read back taxi instructions

q Holding short of runway, contact Tower on 127.45 and state:

1. Raleigh Tower, Cessna ##### ready for takeoff at runway ##

2. Read back Tower’s instructions (Hold short, position and hold, or cleared for takeoff)

3. Remain on Tower frequency until told to contact Departure

q When instructed by tower, contact Departure on assigned frequency and state:

1. Raleigh Departure, Cessna ##### with you passing through #### feet climbing #### feet

2. Read back and follow Departures instructions

3. Notify Departure when airport is in sight or requesting frequency change

Radio Calls for Arrival

q Obtain ATIS on 123.8

q Contact Approach on 125.3 (East) or 132.35 (West) and state:

1. Raleigh Approach, Cessna ##### (and wait for response, then)

2. ##### is a Cessna 152/172, ## miles to the N/S/E/W, inbound for landing with information ATIS Code

3. Read back instructions/transponder code

4. Follow Approach’s instructions and notify when RDU is in sight

5. Contact Tower only when told to do so by Approach

q Contact Tower on 127.45 and state:

1. Raleigh Tower, Cessna ##### with you for runway ##

2. Follow/read back all instructions. Do not land until you are “Cleared to Land”

3. Contact Ground only when told to do so by Tower

q Contact Ground on 121.9 and state:

1. Raleigh Ground, Cessna ##### at taxiway ## ready to taxi to Southern Jet

2. Read back and follow Ground’s instructions

3. Stay with Ground until back on the ramp
